I recently requested a quotation for a granny annex on the side of our house in Birkdale. Paul Ennis paid a visit to the house the following day.

A quote and very professional schedule of works put together by Project Manager Jamie arrived by post a couple of days later. Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances we are not currently in a position to go ahead with the original plan , however as I was already impressed with the company I asked them to complete a bathroom renovation. Believe me when I say a renovation the room had no floor and the walls were back to the joists and the lath and plaster. Less than three weeks later we have a beautiful bathroom with a wet room shower, a new internally blinded window, beautiful tiled floor and walls, new downlighters and fitted furniture ,we had already purchased from the Bathstore. The fitting includes a bespoke purpose made lit plinth above the sink and work tops, designed, made and fitted by the team, which blends in seamlessly with the units.

The work was completed by two hard working , exceptionally competent tradesmen with bags of experience. These were two blokes who I found to be very friendly , very approachable and nothing was too much trouble. I was more than happy on occasion to leave them with the keys to the house when we weren’t around. I would gladly have Mick and Peter back at the house at the drop of a hat. During the course of the job they were assisted on one or two occasions by plumber Callum.

It’s an old house and that in itself caused some problems in that the original design just wouldn’t work but Micks advice and experience paid off and he was able to find solutions to the problems leaving us very satisfied with the result.

Yes if I’m honest I could have had the job done cheaper, but that may have resulted in a cheap job !! We have a bathroom which looks fantastic and I know has been fitted to the highest standard by real craftsmen.

I have had some other minor work done since which I am also pleased with.

The original build may not now happen but when we look to do an alternative with that space I’ll definitely be giving Jamie a call.
