Scarisbrick New Road

About this project

Renovation of an Historic Building incorporating a basement conversion in to eight two bedroom apartments
The works consisted of the upgrading of the existing historic building – formally the summer residence of the Sheriff of Lancashire and his family from 1898.

Accommodation included:
• Eight two bedroom flats with a combined value of £1.4M

“Care was taken with this very prominent building located on the main road in to the sea side town of Southport – The design was sympathetic to the original layout of the building with nearly all of the structural walls staying in their original position – The external sandstone and brickwork was retained and restored, the building was brought up to modern standards with regard to insulation and draft and damp proofing”.
