Meet the Team

The practice has been established for over 10 years. We currently have over 14 staff of whom a high proportion are professionally qualified. Given our range of work, we also have experts in all elements of the built environment amongst our staff. Our people are creative without being pretentious and provide technical expertise and practical advice in a direct, open manner.

Paul Ennis

holds a certificate from the British Occupational Hygiene Society in Building surveys and bulk sampling for asbestos.
holds a certificate from Elmhurst Energy Systems in carrying out Home Energy Ratings and issuing SAP Reports, and is a qualified home inspector.
is qualified with the Construction Industry Training Board as a Health & Safety Site Manager and advisor.

Previously the managing director of the construction company, Paul now dedicates the majority of his time to the surveying and architectural practice, and has now built up a practice that is well respected throughout the North West with a solid client base.

Paul has been involved in the design of many different types of buildings, from domestic extensions and barn conversions to housing estates of 75 dwellings. The commercial design ranges from small retail units, restaurants and bars to a £5m nightclub.

Paul is also well respected for his skills in building pathology and surveying of buildings both commercial and residential. He is qualified in surveying buildings for asbestos, and is a full member of the Faculty of Party Wall Surveyors.

Leon Wilkinson

Leon has been a structural engineer all his working life both for local government and in private practice and is expert in all aspects of structural engineering. Leon has responsibilities within the practice including:

Supervision of the team engaged on structural projects.
Preparation of specifications and Schedule of Works.
Tender analysis and supervision of contractors.
Preparation of structural reports for both domestic and commercial premises.
Feasibility studies for structural alterations for both domestic and commercial premises.
Party wall surveyor for domestic and commercial projects.
Cost estimating and quality control of various projects.
Appraisal of structural calculations submitted for approval under Part A of the building regulations.

Vince Rimmer

Vince has responsibility for surveying services department and environmental design within Architectural Services. Vince conducts both domestic and commercial surveys. Most recently he has completed condition surveys for the Bowes Street (Urban Regeneration) Project in Moss Side and the National Express railway stations in East Anglia.

Phil Dooley

Tony Hogarth

Tony served his time as a carpenter & joiner with vast experience to become a Project Manager within the company.With his natural management skills and attention to detail he always builds a very good rapport with our customers and produces work that beats expectations.Tony has overall responsibility for the on-site management of all construction projects.

Martin Gibbs

Michael has worked in the construction industry his whole life and with that he brings a wealth of experience to the team on the ground. Michael is responsible for service installations and finishes.
